Now that Comicon is over, my official book tour has begun. If you plan on attending, here's a few things to know:

• If you plan on attending, please RSVP on Facebook. You're not required to RSVP, but it gives us a better idea of how many people to expect.
• Books and calendars will be available for purchase at every event. If you've already purchased a book or other merchandise and want to bring it to the signing, I'll sign that, too. Some bookstores require a purchase, however. It varies from venue to venue so call ahead if you're unsure.
• If there's a big line, please don't ask me to pose for a photo
  When you ask me to pose for a photo, it causes a chain reaction in the line that makes everyone else want a photo. This turns a 45 minute waiting time into a 4 hour line. I'm quite comfortable: I've got plenty of water, pens, and I'm sitting down. The people waiting in that line, however, have to stand up the entire time and it can be pretty miserable.
  If you absolutely must have a photo please for the love of God and all that is hairy please read this comic first.

That's it! I'll try to post a comic while I'm on the road, but the website will be pretty quiet until I get home in November.

The Oatmeal will be traveling to various bookstores to give lectures about spiders and meat. He will also be signing books and possibly drawing pictures.
